Since Adam Stewart has taken over the Sandals family of resorts he has been very clear about one thing. Sandals Resorts is going to continue to expand, but this one is a little different. Sandals Dunn's River feels a little personal. It was apart of the Sandals Resorts family back in the early 90s before being let go. When it was reacquired back in 2020, along with adjacent beach front, it proved to be the last project the Honorable Gordon "Butch" Stewart and his son were able to collaborate on with his passing in early 2021.
After the acquisition Adam Stewart said, "My father grew up on the beach in Ocho Rios, as we embark on our strategic growth plans, we are proud to bring to life his vision through this incredible property. There will simply be nothing like it."
From what we have seen so far, his words are ringing true. The
early photos showing the first Jamaican Rondovals with rooftop terrace and soaking tubs are truly a site to behold. Sandals Resorts continues to lead the luxury all inclusive resorts with these new concepts. If soaking up the Caribbean sun on your private deck is not your thing, you can easily float around the lazy river that surrounds your room or take a dip in your private pool.
